Biography

 

Josh Murfitt is a freelance photographer and photographic artist based in Edinburgh, Scotland.


He specialises in digitisation and photography of works of art, cultural heritage collections, exhibitions, installations and art-related events. Since 2013 he has worked with a wide range of clients including Art UK, Kettle's Yard, University of Cambridge Museums, St John's College School, Art Language Location, The Holburne Museum, Victoria Miro, The New Hall Art Collection, Jupiter Artland, Cambridge Open Studios and Anglia Ruskin University.


Josh also photographs landscapes and the natural world, as well as urban environments, both in his local area and further afield. His work often considers the significance of these locations in personal, historical, environmental or political contexts.
