Biography

 

Josh Murfitt is a documentary photographer based in Edinburgh, Scotland.


He specialises in digitisation and photography of works of art, cultural heritage collections, exhibitions, installations and art-related events. Since 2013 he has worked with a wide range of clients including Art UK, Kettle's Yard, University of Cambridge Museums, St John's College School, Art Language Location, The Holburne Museum, Victoria Miro, The New Hall Art Collection, Jupiter Artland, Cambridge Open Studios and Anglia Ruskin University.

 

He also has an MA in Documentary Photography and Photojournalism and has participated in exhibitions in the UK and Germany. He is especially interested in the natural world, social history, and debates around cultural heritage.
