We've not had much time off work since the new year so it was nice to get in a trip to North Berwick last weekend. It remains one of my favourite places to go within an hour's drive of Edinburgh.
It was a bit quieter than the last time we visited, which if I remember correctly was mid-summer. I don't remember seeing these details around the harbour last time. Not to say they weren't there, of course.
I reminded myself to look for small things to photograph on the beach, instead of the wide open sea and the waves which usually lure me straight in. I don't know what these mini barnacle things are called, or why the seaweed appears to be growing out of the rock. Things to Google later.
Naturally I couldn't resist a few photos of the waves rising and falling, even if they were very small waves. Sometimes we do need to appreciate small things.
